The event will be held from September 7-12 with free entry from 10am until 4pm each day.
Crafty fingers are already working on their creations for the competition with the Tea Cosy of the Year winning $500.
"If you're creative you still have time to submit your Tea Cosy or Trivet," said one of the organisers, Erika Seck.
"But for the not so creative you could enter in the Treasured Memories category with a family heirloom or just your favourite tea cosy or trivet."
As well as the major prize, each tea cosy category has a first prize of $100 and a second prize of $50.
Trivet of the Year wins $100, with each category having a $50 first prize.
Entries can be taken to the Visitor Information Centre in Dowling Street, Dungog by August 15.
School students are also invited to submit Tea Party related artworks or creations with great cash prizes.
While all schools and pre-schools in the Dungog Shire have been contacted for participation, students can also enter as an individual.
"We welcome your creativity," said Ms Seck.
"Art works will again be displayed at the event and the IGA Dungog."
An exhibition of Tea Pots will be displayed at the event - with some being up for sale.
"We are asking the public if they would like to display any of their tea pots they can.
"A lot of people have teapots they no longer want and we can sell them with a small commission."
After requests to the organising committee for another trivia night, one will be held on July 31 at the Dungog RSL with a theme of Christmas in July.
"These are always a great night with friendly people," said Ms Seck.
"Dress up in your Christmas best and decorate your table of eight members to suit.
"There are some awesome prizes to be won.
"We still have a few tables left so contact us now so you don't miss out."
To ensure the safety of all customers the events with be run in line with the latest COVID government health restrictions.
