A Christmas party at Camelot Lavender Farm was the perfect finale to the 2018 festive season for the Dungog Legacy widows.
Dungog Legacy President Nick Helyer said around 50 widows, carers and Legatees attended the Christmas gathering, with the afternoon hailed a huge success.
“Dungog Legacy provides numerous activities for Dungog Legacy Widows and their carers during the year, but the Christmas luncheon is always a special occasion,” he said.
"Our widows and carers were treated to a very hearty Christmas dinner and Santa arrived to give out gifts to all our widows.”
Mr Helyer paid tribute to the volunteers involved in organising the luncheon.
Hunter Legacy President Garth Carlson also said it was a great afternoon.
“From a Legacy perspective, to bring our widows together to celebrate Christmas is one of the most enjoyable events during the year,” he said.
“And it is a fitting time to thank all those in the Community who support Legacy Badge week and wish all a safe and happy Christmas”.
