Staff wearing curly wigs and offering cupcakes greeted Dungog CommBank customers on Friday, April 7.
The staff dressed as Clown Doctors to sell cupcakes donated by Shaw’s Williams River Bakery and Barrington Bakery as well as hold an Easter Egg guessing competition, donated by Lovey’s Supa IGA.
Clown Doctors is the core program of The Humour Foundation, a not-for-profit organisation that provides medical clowns to sick children in hospital, treating them with a different kind of medicine – fun and laughter.
Karen Hancock, Dungog CommBank Bank Branch Manager said staff are passionate about the cause.
“Through our fundraising day, we hope to help the Clown Doctors achieve their goal of conducting more Clown Rounds in hospitals across Australia,” she said.
