It’s an annual tradition in Dungog that’s graced the town’s Uniting Church for more than 25 years.
The Festival of Flowers saw a range of floral displays on show in the town’s sanctuary section on September 7.
A dozen members of the church congregation created the arrangements, which revolved around the theme “he could live anywhere but he chooses to live in your heart”.
Church musicians performed background music while visitors ponder the displays.
“A lot of the flowers came out of their own gardens, but we did purchase some locally,” committee member Lurline Trustum said.
“It was a combined effort.”
Creative director Gloria Berry designed the overall theme of the arrangements and directed the 30-strong committee to help make her vision a reality.
