Decorating it was 'serious business'. But how would they bring their elephant to life? There were so many options.
At least the trunk was already there. The handle of the milk bottle had taken care of that.
Three-year-old Elijah Liebregts had a plan from the beginning.
He wanted to decorate his elephant with his three favourite colours "green, black and orange".
"My favourite bit is the top, it's green," he said.
Elijah is a regular at Dungog Library's Story Time session, which gives children the chance to have a book read to them before they engage in a craft activity.
This week the book was Have You Seen Elephant.
