Mick Dillon from Dillon and Sons reported a total yarding of 760 head at Singleton last week, 200 head less than the previous sale.

Younger cattle continued to make up the majority of the yarding with around 60 cows yarded and a fair selection of grown steers and heifers as well.
In the trade yarding last week prices for restockers were back with the best pens of angus weaners reaching a top of $3.65 a kilo while the pick of the remaining breeds topped at $3.33.
The pick of the young butcher calves slipped with the best pens to a top of $3.32 a kilo while grain assisted yearlings topped at $3.20.
In the export yarding prices slipped with the best grown steers reaching $3.00 a kilo while grown heifers topped at $2.89.
Prices for cows came back marginally with the best pens reaching a top of $2.25 a kilo while the best of the grown heavy bulls topped at $2.40.
The draw for next week's sale, Max Bailey and Dillon and Sons will be third d sale.
