This year marked a big jump in attendance drawing in 90 people into Bandon Grove Hall.
Rhonda Shelton is one of the organisers of the event and she was blown away by the enthusiasm this year.
"It was absolutely magical," she said.
"We're all getting older and just the support that we have from the people around and coming in from Dungog to help us, it's just amazing.
"With what the weather's been like we were worried that people might not come but I think they were pleased to get outside."
The small band of helpers, through donations and raffles, raised $4642 for the Cancer Council.
They were very appreciative of everyone who attended, cooked the delicious morning tea treats and generously donated raffle prizes.
The event started in 2001 with the Bandon Grove Union Church Guild members hosting the Cancer Council fundraiser in private homes until it grew to such a size that it had to be held at the Bandon Grove Hall. It has been running annually since then only stopping during the COVID lockdowns.
Mrs Shelton emphasised the group effort behind organising such an event and wanted to thank everyone who participated.
"Thank you to everybody that came and that helped," she said.
The organisers are again looking forward to hosting it again next year.
