Clarence Town Post Office is getting ready to wrap up its own parcel in the form of money for an anti-bullying charity.

Do It For Dolly Day is Friday, May 10 however owner of Clarence Town Post Office Dannii Jeffery said that the office will be getting into gear for the whole week leading up to it.
"We get dressed up in the blue Dolly's Dream charity stuff," she said.
"It suits our area too, it's very country. We'll have balloons and a little donation box. There are some girls who do fundraising with plants out the front, whatever they sell on the day will be put towards the Dolly fundraising.
"Hopefully this year, the second time around will be better than last time."
This year marks the second year that Clarence Town Post Office has raised money for the charity Dolly's Dream.
"We did it last year and got just under $1000 so we're hoping to beat that. I'll also be putting half of what commissions I get on the day towards the charity," Ms Jeffery said.
"Dolly's Dream is all about bullying and suicide. In the last 18 months there's been a couple in our Dungog Shire and just social media these days can be horrible. So Dolly's Dream is to try and help put that out there and to stop it.
"I just think it's a great cause really."
This push towards more charitable work comes from Ms Jeffery's own experience with having young children in the shire.
"I have three young kids in high school myself, they don't talk to each other it's all on their phones and computers.
"So it's about trying to keep them as safe as we can," she said.
"We're trying to get everybody to be nicer to each other. This world's not the greatest sometimes and I think if we can get rid of bullying as much as possible I think it would be great.
"One of my sons had a bit of social media bullying and it's just too easy for kids to do that these days. He never spoke to me about it so it's also about trying to get the kids to talk to somebody."
The idea to raise money for charity again this year came after the Dungog District Chamber of Commerce held a forum targeting youth disengagement.
After seeing this push to support young people Ms Jeffery and the team at the Clarence Town Post Office were inspired to add to this movement as well.
"I know a lot of people struggling and they need to know there's help," she said.
The charity Dolly's Dream is an Australian charity targeting bullying. They provide services such as a support line, school workshops, mental health first aid and youth drop-in centres.
