Bass' kick went through the uprights with 1:54 remaining on Sunday as the Bills (7-6) won for just a third game in seven.
James Cook had a receiving touchdown and 141 scrimmage yards (83 receiving, 58 rushing) for Buffalo. Allen completed 23 of 42 passes for 233 yards with an interception.
Patrick Mahomes completed 25 of 43 passes for 271 yards, one touchdown and one interception as the Chiefs (8-5) lost for the fourth time in six games.

Prescott completed 24 of 39 throws to help the Cowboys (10-3) win their fifth straight. They have not lost since the Eagles beat them 28-23 in Philadelphia on November 5.
Aubrey hit from 60, 59, 45 and 50 yards, becoming the first kicker in NFL history to make two field goals of 59 yards or longer in one game.
In other games, Tampa Bay won 29-25 at Atlanta, Chicago beat visiting Detroit 28-13, Cincinnati won 34-14 at home to Indianapolis, Cleveland beat visiting Jacksonville 31-27, New Orleans won 28-6 at home to Carolina, the New York Jets won 30-7 at home to Houston, Minnesota won a soccer-score encounter 3-0 at Las Vegas, San Francisco beat visiting Seattle 28-16, and Denver won 24-7 at the LA Chargers.
