The Raiders will enter its own team into the Newcastle and Hunter Rugby League competition in 2023 with Reid and Lund at the helm.
"[Reid's] commitment to the club and his teammates has brought him to a senior leadership role adding to the on-field depth and coordination," the club said in announcing Reid as its captain-coach for the new season.
"Harry played his first game back in 2016 but has been apart of the club years before that growing up watching his dad Mick play for us.
"We have loved watching Harry grow into the player he is today receiving many awards for his performance over the years and can't wait to watch him become a leader and mentor in his new role as captain and coach."
Lund, also the vice president of the Raiders club, is another former player who will provide vital support off-field.
"Cal has also been apart of the club for many years and joining the committee as vice president as of last year. We have enjoyed watching Cal grow from being a young player to now being appointed vice president and now co-coach. He will bring lots of football knowledge and experience to our coaching staff as well and cannot wait for this duo to work together this year," the club said.
The first pre-season training session will be held 6pm on Tuesday, January 31. All are welcome to join.
