Animal safe places now open across Dungog Shire amid flood warnings
The organisation posted to Facebook on Monday to inform the community ahead of the predicted flood event.
"If you are evacuating and taking your animals to this site please bring with you any:
- Necessary handling equipment eg halters or leads for horses, dogs, carry cages for cats and other pets
- Feed or medication, containers for drinking water
"Please remember you are responsible for the care of your animals while at an evacuation centre," the post stated.
