Today we feature the pages from this day - April 2 - in 2008.
Take a walk down memory lane with us with the gallery and see if you spot someone you know our yourself!
On the front page we had the great story about Brittany Dobson getting her lovely locks chopped off for Relay for Life.
Inside, stories included bugler Tyson Redman off to Europe; a fun trivia night; CWA news; the Cox family reunion and - you wouldn't believe it - roadwork starting on Dowling Street.
In sport, we had Ben Trappel winning a golf tournament, the upcoming clash between Stroud and the Warriors, the new Warriors coach and Andrew Deasey's skill on the bowling green.
The Dungog Chronicle is proud to document the stories of residents from around the district.
From school events to community fundraisers and campaigns and the achievements of local people young and old we want to hear about it.
While events around the shire are cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there are still wonderful things happening in our community.
