There have been more than 230 tea cosies and trivets entered into the competition with entries on display during the festival which will be held from Tuesday, August 20 until Sunday, August 25 at the James Theatre.
"The talent is astonishing," said Erika Seck from the organising committee.
In conjunction with the Dungog Tea Party, the Dungog Art Society will host a paint workshop event on Friday, August 23 from 2-4pm. Cost is $20 which includes afternoon tea and all art supplies to create your own unique artwork.
