Dungog Library will soon have a collection of new books on its shelves to motivate, inspire and educate readers on how they can play their part in waste management.
The books range from a history of sustainability to ways to create a new wardrobe and restyle your home.
To celebrate the book launch a free morning tea will be held at the library on Wednesday, August 7 at 11am.
JR Richards Waste and Recycling Services Waste Education Officer Megan Griffiths will officially donate the new books and lead a discussion on upcycling and waste diversion.
The event is part of Local Government Week celebrations in the shire.
