The welcome drops stopped play a few times in the February 23 match with Tanya Death, Ruth Van Dam and Viv Miller against Jayne Ford, Julie Flannery and Joanna Wade.
After a great game Tanya, Ruth and Viv took home the title.
The women’s club is always happy to welcome new members.
They meet every third Sunday at 10am at the Clarence Town bowling club with a meeting, a social game of bowls and lunch and a chat.
The club holds a social day every Tuesday at 1pm, which many of the lady bowlers also play in.
Clarence Town Bowling Sport also hosts and supports social/barefoot bowls.
Barefoot bowls requires no lawn bowls experience and is ideally suited for work functions, corporate events, sporting clubs, team building or corporate networking events. For more information visit www.clarrobowlo.com.au.
