Glenda Sullivan (nee Cummings) is looking for past students who attended the school for any period of time in that year or second form in 1970, third form in 1971 or fourth form in 1972 to join in the celebrations.
The event will be held on January 5 starting with a meet and greet and tour of the high school at 11am and then lunch and refreshments to follow in the” top pub”.
Now living in Victoria, Glenda, whose mother Beryl Amor still lives in Dungog, said she has enjoyed reacquainting herself with old classmates, mostly found through Facebook.
“I’m surprised at how well I have been met in this mission,’ she laughed.
“Everyone has been excited to say hello, its been marvelous.”
There are still some class members not yet located – around 25 – and some missing photographs.
“We are having some trouble finding photos, class lists and contacts.
“We have no photos at all of the B or C classes for those years,” she said.
Only three of her classmates from those years are known to have passed away.
If you know of a students from the years listed or have photographs from the high school at that time, you can contact Glenda on phone 03 5856 1497 or email her glenda@thinsurance.com.au.
