The young players delivered their biggest performance of the season on Saturday, September 1, to beat Mayfield in the final game of the season.
In windy conditions at Branxton the team played a very determined Mayfield but came out on top with superior teamwork and skill, winning 2-0.
“This talented team have had a fantastic season,” said manager Donna Griffith.
“Not only are they grand final winners, the players were also awarded medals for taking out the Minor Premiership.
“Congratulations to all for a brilliant season.”
The team is coached by Karyn Marsh.

Under 15s
Unfortunately, the under-15s finished one win short of achieving the minor-major premiership double as well.
The teams’s first loss of the season came in the grand final to New Lambton in a hard-fought battle.
The players have worked incredibly well as a team and the final was no exception with skilful and coordinated attacks, solid defence and superb goal keeping. Despite their incredible efforts it was just unlucky that it wasn’t their day.
The team and coaches should be incredibly proud of their achievements throughout the season and in particular the way they handled the result fighting hard until the final whistle, never giving up and holding their heads high
