
A 59-year-old man has died in a single car crash at Wallarobba on Monday afternoon.
About 3.45pm on Monday, December 11, a white Toyota Prado, being driven by a 59-year-old man, was travelling on Dungog Road, Wallarobba.
About one kilometre east of Wallarobba-Brookfield Road, the vehicle lost control and rolled.
The driver suffered fatal injuries.
The crash is being investigated by officers from Port Stephens Local Area Command and they ask that anyone who may have witnessed the crash to contact them on 4983 7599.
That crash came on the same day a Vacy man died after his ute crashed into a tree at Mindaribba, north of Maitland.
The white Toyota Hilux ute was travelling south on Tocal Road when it veered off the road about 6am.
The 46-year-old man from Vacy, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, was treated by paramedics but died at the scene.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
