Equestrian fans are being treated to some spectacular displays at the annual Hunter Valley Showjumping Club Spring Championship in Maitland over the weekend.

The competition started on Saturday and continues through Sunday at the Maitland Polocrosse Grounds on Anambah Road.
Entry is free and this is a rare chance to see some of Australia’s best horse and rider combinations showcasing their incredible sporting relationships.
Former Olympian Vicki Roycroft and David Cooper, Australian champion Andrew Inglis and a host of the Hunter’s aspiring equestrian stars are taking part in the two rings of competition.
Club president Sue Middleton said the event was about fostering riders of the future as well as providing top- flight competition in the Hunter.
Competition start at 8.30am and run through to 5.30pm on Sunday. Bring your camp chair and sit back and be amazed.
