The service was conducted by the Rev Karen Jansson and many of those present shared their thoughts and memories about the church.
The anniversary cake, which was made by Mrs Fay Spicer, was cut by Mrs Glenda Saxby (nee Gorton) and Clare Bagnall.
Lunch followed in the church grounds and Steve Gorton reported that all present agreed it was a fitting way to celebrate the important milestone in the little church’s history.
