Destiny Haven will open its doors for an open day on Saturday October 7 to celebrate 10 years of transforming women’s lives.
The open day promises to be filled with fun and inspiration for the whole family with food and music on the picturesque 42-acre Hunter Valley property just outside of Dungog.
“We’re really looking forward to celebrating our first 10 years as a charity who has supported over 200 disadvantaged Australian women.,” said Janine Epere, Co-Founder and CEO of Destiny Haven.
“We’re all so excited about the Open Day and sharing this with the local community.”
The event, with free entry, aims to raise awareness of the charity that provides long term support to women committed to overcoming life-controlling issues including eating disorders, self-harm and substance abuse.
Festivities will include a petting zoo, sausage sizzle, jumping castle, Devonshire tea, chocolate demonstrations, prizes and auctions.
“It’s been an incredible privilege to watch lives broken and filled with hopelessness be transformed as women discover their true worth and begin to dream for their futures,” said Mrs Epere.
“This Open Day is a celebration of all the women who’ve turned their lives around at Destiny Haven.”
