The Dungog Festival put the spotlight on Dungog last year attracting tourists to the area and is now giving back to the community which helped make it such a success.
Directors of Dungog Arts Foundation on behalf of the Dungog Festival, Nancy Knudsen and Michael Atkins, recently presented $2000 worth of donations to various community groups.
Ms Knudsen said the the festival was such a success because of the various community organisations.
Accepting on behalf of Dungog High School was Robyn Trappel and Louise Rowley. Shaun Gordon accepted on behalf of Clarence Town Bowling Club.
Lahiru Premarathne accepted on behalf of Dungog Soccer Club and St Johns Ambulance representative Glenys Ellenbacher also accepting the donation. Dungog Public School also received a donation for their help.
