The much-anticipated Dungog Community College’s annual masked ball is to be held at the James Theatre on Saturday, June 24.
John O’Brien from the college said this year is set to be bigger and better than ever.
“This is our fourth year and every year the costumes get more and more extraordinary,” he said.
“There is so much creative energy put in to the costumes and while it’s not mandatory to dress up, most people do.”
This year’s theme is Under the Sea (and Back to the Beach).
Mr O’Brien reminded party-goers how potentially cold a night in the James Theatre in June could be.
“So if you're thinking of wearing a bikini, please wear a fur coat,” he laughed.
The organisers hope to top previous years’ fundraising efforts and raise $10,000 with this year’s ball.
The night includes a three course meal, a performance by the Park Avenue Dancers, entertainment by Marissa + 1, auctions and raffles and the much-coveted prize for best costume.
You can buy tickets from the college’s website from April 24.
