The film includes interviews with the last 10 Anzacs.
The screening will take place in St John’s Church which, according to Elizabeth Bradhurst, Hon Secretary of Friends of St John’s Stroud, is apt.
“On the wall of the church is a roll of honour bearing the names of 54 men and women from the parish who served overseas during the Great War, nine of whom did not return,” said Miss Bradhurst.
The screening of the documentary on Saturday November 12 at 7.30pm will conclude with supper and the opportunity to talk further with Dr King.
Admission is by donation at the door, with funds going towards the restoration of the convict gallery in the church.
