The Be Bird Alert is being held on October 14 and 15. It is a talk and an on-site bird-spotting event organised by the Paterson Allyn Williams Science Hub.
“The Bird Count is Australia’s largest citizen science event,” Science Hub’s Brian Doherty. “And our program is designed to make that as easy and fun as possible. There’s fantastic interest in bird life around here.”
The program starts at 6.30pm on October 14 at Dungog RSL and will give participants a chance to register for the bird-spotting excursion the next day.
