Thelma Howe (nee McNabb) enjoyed the milestone with family and her fellow residents at Lara Aged Care last week.
Mrs Howe was born at Weston in 1916. She was one of seven children to Daisy and Tom McNabb.
After her father died when she was 12 years old, Mrs Howe and her siblings were unable to stay at school long.
Mrs Howe gained a position at Bradford Cotton Mill, Rutherford where she worked for 30 years.
She met Joe Howe in 1933 and married him in 1935. They had two children, Keith and Elaine.
The pair were married 62 years before Mr Howe died.
Mrs Howe now has seven grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
