Dungog-Clarence Town CWA treasurer Wendy Hogan said the Clarence Town School of Arts Hall and the Seniors Citizens Centre, which is behind it, would be filled with stockists and displays.
The event, which is in its 10th year, is becoming more popular.
“It’s very popular, there are a variety of quilts – some of them are totally hand made and others are machine made, and others are machine quilted,” she said.
“A lot of people enjoy it, it’s a lovely gentle craft and they enjoy the beautiful results and want to share it with family and friends.
“We attract quilters in the local area as well as further afield.”
Ms Hogan expected hundreds of people to attend the event and said there would be something for every quilter.
“We have stall holders there as well and they sell a variety of items – some sell craft and some sell quilt and patch work supplies,” she said.
Ms Hogan said there were raffle prizes on offer and the winner would take home a quilt she had made. A second prize, which is a crochet table runner, will also be offered.
The event will be held on Saturday between 10am and 4pm, and on Sunday between 10am and 3pm. Cost is $5 entry per person.
The group will put the entry fee towards local projects.
