Ericka Boutillier, Jonathan Drake and Trent Crosdale have joined the Stroud ambulance station and are ready to help the community.
Ms Boutillier was permanently appointed a month ago after she had been working out of the station to relieve another staff member.
Mr Drake and Mr Crosdale arrived in the past few months.
“It’s a very rewarding job, they have all worked in the city and they chose to come out here because they enjoy being in a rural area,” station officer Drew Humfrey said.
“We get a lot of good feedback from the community.”
This is the first time in 12 months that the station has had four permanent paramedics.
“For quite some time we haven’t had four due to movement within the service and sick leave over the last 12 months.”
The station services Stroud and also assists ambulance stations in Dungog Gloucester, Buladelah and Tea Gardens when required.
“It’s mixed work, a mixture of road accidents, medical cases like chest pain … We are trained to deal with any situation,” Mr Humfrey said.
