Dungog Agricultural and Horticultural Association received $3500 to put towards a cool room in the kiosk at the town’s showground.
Owen Nicholson, the association secretary, accepted the money at the grant ceremony.
The Rotary Club of Dungog received $2000 for Pedalfest 2016 and member Bob Curtain was on hand to accept the money.
Dungog Arts Society received $500 for its annual art exp major prize. Member Simone Turner accepted the money on behalf of the society.
The program focuses on supporting groups within the Gloucester Basin that have a range of focuses including in education.
