Mr Elliott was accompanied by State Member for Upper Hunter Michael Johnsen and during the visit, announced a grant for $5000 to the Dungog SES unit which will pay for an awning for the unit’s training ground.
This was followed by afternoon tea meeting the volunteers of the Dungog Rural Fire Service.
“The afternoon was a great success and it was an honour to meet and congratulate the many volunteers of SES and RFS,” Mr Johnsen said.
