Games between these two sides are always keenly contested and this weekend’s match, although only a trial, will be no different.
With Dungog in C Grade this season and Stroud in D Grade, this could be the only chance for the two sides meet this season so bragging rights are on the line.
Stroud have had the wood on the Warriors in recent meetings having won the last six games and you have to go back almost three years for Dungog’s last victory over the Raiders.
New Warriors captain coach Nathan Ward is one of a host of new players on display and will be keen to start off on a winning note and regain the Charity Shield.
Play starts at 2.30pm.
