In a statement on its Facebook, Dungog Shire Council confirmed the road would remain single-lane and under works.
"The landslip site on Bingleburra Road will remain under traffic control and single-lane operation until we receive the final survey and Geotech report, detailing stabilisation and safety of the site," it read.
"Unfortunately, works in this area have also been hindered by theft and vandalism of the onsite traffic lights - the solar panels and light batteries have been removed on more than one occasion, forcing us to install protective barriers to prevent these assets from further damage.

"Traffic control will remain in place at this site until it is deemed safe for all motorists, and we appreciate your patience when travelling in the area."
Earlier this year, Dungog council received $1.79 million for road repairs under the NSW Government's Road Safety program which includes Bingleburra Road, the Allyn River Road and Bingleburra Road intersection, and Stroud Hill Road.
