The hall has new piers, a new roof lining and insulation thanks to the work of Mark de Hoogh and family.
The hall has a new accessible toilet which sits unobtrusively at the end of the freshly covered supper table - a great volunteer job by Rod Farmer and Phil White.
Termite damage has been repaired thanks to Jeff Lowrey and there's a new set of steps and sensitively-restored pews and stools courtesy of the Dungog Men's Shed.
There's new fans from a mystery donor and new toilets thanks to Rotary.
"This renaissance is due to the hands of many who see the Hall as the heart of the community," said Bruce read.
"Clean potable water thanks to Hunter Water Corporation flows in the kitchen at last which also funded most of the insulation and lining of the roof, to the tune of $30000."
