Dungog and District Neighbourcare has recognised this with the purchase of chill towels for its volunteers.

Last year the Commonwealth Bank Dungog branch employees donated $500 to Neighbourcare Meals on Wheels as part of their nationwide community donation program. Neighbourcare added to that to buy the chill towels which have started to roll out to the grateful volunteers.

"The chill towels will help to keep our amazing volunteers cool in the warmer months," said Joan Mascord, Neighbourcare's Meals on Wheels Coordinator.

"A big thank you to Karen Hancock and the staff at Commonwealth Bank for recognising the great work that the volunteers do."
