Hearing the words 'Nanna has dementia' broke Gina's heart.
Before the onset of dementia, Heather was an active lady who cared for her husband for 30 years of their 60 years of marriage after he suffered a stroke.
Now in the dementia section of Lara Nursing Home, one of Heather's favourite things to do is to colour in.
This gave Gina the idea to create a colouring book for people with dementia, naming of the book, 'Inspired by Nanna'.
The drawings are all hand drawn by Gina, her two children and Gina's mother (Heather's daughter), Julie.
Ten percent of the proceeds from book sales will be donated to Dementia Australia.
Each book comes with a pack of coloured pencils and costs $10 (plus post if applicable).
