Author Todd Alexander entertained a large crowd of locals with his hilarious stories of a 'not so perfect tree change' to the Hunter Valley.

Dungog Library hosted Todd for its last author event on Friday, December 6.
Todd is the author of 'Thirty Thousand Bottles of Wine and a Pig Called Helga' detailing his tree change for him and his partner where they run a boutique vineyard and accommodation business, Block Eight.
"A big thankyou to Todd and his partner Jeff for coming along to the library and putting a smile on all our faces as well as Marion from Gloucester Bookshop who came to sell copies of his books," said librarian Tracy Cummings.
Todd is also the author of two works of fiction, Pictures of Us and Tom Houghton, all are available for loan at the library.
Thanks to an increase in funding the Dungog Library is now open longer hours.
The library is now open Monday to Friday from 10am and 1pm and 2pm to 5pm. On Saturday the library is open from 9.30am until 12pm. For more information on the library services call librarians Amanda Field and Tracy Cummings on 4992 1819.
