A parade will be a key feature of this year's Dowling Street Christmas Party from 5pm on Wednesday December 4.
The event is thanks to the volunteers at the Dungog and District Chamber of Commerce keen to provide a fun family evening with a boost to the local businesses in Dowling Street.
Back by popular demand is this year's live nativity scene set to charm the whole family.
Along with the requisite Mary and Joseph and little baby Jesus will be the three wise men - riding camels. Real camels.
Throw in a few donkeys and possibly a sheep or two and the scene is something out of a Christmas card.
Of course a Christmas parade would not be complete without a visit from Santa Claus. While Rudolph and the rest of the reindeer are chilling before the big run on December 24, the question on little people's lips is how will he make his entrance this year? Last year he arrived on a quad bike and the previous year on a vintage tractor.
Take a look back at some of the images from last year's parade to get you into the Christmas spirit.
