Dungog Hospital Auxiliary members held a special morning tea recently to recognise four members.

Judy Atkins,Chris Studdert and Jean Baker have received certificates for 15 years of service to the auxiliary.
Sue Campbell retired from her position as secretary after 26 years and was recognised with flowers.
Sue is still an active member of the auxiliary and joins other long serving members with past president Bev Irwin having chalked up 26 years of service and current president Ronda Tyne with 17 years of service.
The auxiliary plays an important role in the comfort and care of those at the Dungog Hospital. In recent years they have donated a $14,400 bladder scan machine, a special shower chair and made the palliative care room more comfortable. They will continue to fundraise while the hospital undergoes renovations ready for a staff "wish list" when the work is complete. Members will be outside Davey and Olsen in Dowling Street in coming weeks with the Christmas stocking raffle.
"We would like to say thank you very much to the business houses of Dungog and the wider community for the support given to us all year," said Mrs Tyne.
New members are always welcome to the meetings held at 2pm on the third Wednesday of the month, at the Daycare centre in Hospital Hill Road.
