Wallarobba Hall will host its annual Oktoberfest next month over the long weekend as part of the Dungog Festival.
The festivities begin at midday on Saturday, October 5 and continue until at least 5pm.
There will be, as always, German beer, German sausages, sauerkraut, apple strudel and German music by the Happy Wanderers.
The Tin Shed Brewery has done a special brew just for the occasion.
And, the latest sensation - the Dachshund races.
"This event has become a smash hit," said Tom Boorer.
"The competition is fierce. Flash Dash for the fastest. Posh Dash for the Best Dressed."
There were a couple of dozen pooches competing last year.
"Last year we expected maybe 120 or so folks to come to the party," said Tom.
"Around 400 arrived. People even came from Penrith, so the word is spreading."
Lunch is available from 12pm with the Dachshund Dash and Dazzle competition to start at 3pm.
You can keep up to date with all the fun by following the Wallarobba Hall Facebook page.
