Mark Hughes is coming to Dungog on Sunday, September 8.
Dowling Street stores Chic Clothing Company and Hidden Valley Clothing have joined forces to bring the Newcastle Knights legend to town in the quest to raise money for brain cancer.
From 10.30am families are invited to meet Mark and former Newcastle Knights and St George player Tony Townsend who grew up in the area.
For a donation you can have your photograph taken with the stars, enjoy a sausage sizzle or children can have their face painted.
There's a raffle and the two stores will have plenty of sale items with a portion of proceeds going to the Mark Hughes Foundation.
The Mark Hughes Foundation is a charity formed in Newcastle by Mark and Kirralee Hughes following Mark's diagnosis with Brain Cancer in 2013.
The foundation's mission is to raise much needed funds for research, to create awareness and support brain cancer patients and their families.
