Dungog's Spencer Turrin has been shifted from pairs to eights for this month's World Championships as Australia looks to qualify as many boats as possible for next year's Olympics.

Rio Olympic finalist Turrin makes the change in national crews in Austria from Sunday along with recent pairs partner Alex Hill, who returns to the fours.
Australia announced on Wednesday it will compete in all-but two of the 14 Olympic divisions in Linz-Ottensheim.
A top 11 finish for the pairs, top eight for the fours and top five for the eights is required in terms of booking spots for the 2020 Games in Tokyo.
"We've got a big team set to compete at this year's World Rowing Championships," national performance director Bernard Savage told Rowing Australia media.
"We are confident that as a team we can build on our recent successes at the FISA International Para-Rowing Regatta and the World Rowing Cups.
"While this year's World Rowing Championships has an added significance to it due to the Olympic and Paralympic qualification opportunities, we're in Austria to perform on the world stage and deliver podium finishes for Australia."
Joshua Hicks and Sam Hardy are the new pairs combination after Turrin and Hill claimed gold at last month's World Cup 3 event in The Netherlands.
Turrin now teams up with Karsten Forsterling, Alexander Purnell, Angus Moore, Simon Keenan, Joshua Booth, Timothy Masters and Angus Widdicombe in the men's eight.
Hill ends up with Jack Hargreaves, Nicholas Purnell and Joseph O'Brien in the men's four.
