This year's event will be on September 21 with the theme of "Hands of the Bible".
"This will be a floral display, in conjunction with art works depicting various verses or events from the Bible but concentrating on the hands in the story," said Lurline Trustum from the festival committee.
Examples might be the hands of the sower, the hands breaking bread, hands healing the sick, hands nailed to the cross, Old Testament depictions of hands parting the waters or sharing an apple.
"The possibilities are endless."
The festival committee invites the wider community to create art works in any medium or style for inclusion in the display.
"Ideally we would like to have the creations in early September to allow planning and preparation," said Mrs Trustum.
