The 14-year-old, who trains at the and trains at Paterson Boxing Gym, was awarded best fight of the night at the recent Woolloomooloo PCYC boxing tournament.
Reid has only recently turned 14 years old and so this was his first competition in NSW as boxers under 14 can't compete in the state.
The gym and his coach Greg Tindall took Reid to the National Golden Gloves in Brisbane last year as a 13 year old.

"He is very dedicated and absolutely loves boxing. He is an excellent learner and is always excited to train and compete," Tindall said.
