Nine ladies participated in a workshop on lemon curd.
The eager cooks came from Martins Creek, Clarence Town, Stroud and Dungog.
The morning was structured with a short talk about lemons, a demonstration of bulk cooking on the stove top then individual learning using the microwave method.
Bush and Eureka lemons were used with the oven and boiling methods used to sterilise jars.
The Dungog Clarence Town's CWA's next big community event is the annual Quiltarama.
The event at the Clarence Town School of Arts Hall will be held over two days - October 12 and 13. Hundreds of handmade quilts will be on display by CWA members and master quilt crafters.
