An afternoon of music ranging from the 1930s Big Band sound to Abba, including favourite tunes from movies, the stage and screen is about to hit Dungog.
The Friends of the James Theatre are set to welcome Maitland City Brass Band to town later this month.
Maitland City Brass Band recently competed in the Australian National Band Championships.
The band holds concerts throughout the year at Maitland Town Hall and nearby villages and at the annual Steamfest.
The band has male and female members of all ages and always welcomes new members.
The band's performance, Big Bold Sound of Brass, will be at the James Theatre on Sunday July 28 from 1pm to 3pm .
Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for children.
Ticket prices include an afternoon tea at interval in the historic theatre.
