Clarence Town Preschool has achieved "exceeding" in all aspects of an Australia-wide ratings process which every day care, preschool and out of hours care provider must undertake.

The preschool's last accreditation process was in 2015.

"We were really proud to achieve exceeding in all of the elements," said Director Rebecca Boland.

This year has seen the preschool successful with grant applications to further enhance the children's learning.

A member from the Murook Cultural education service comes out once a fortnight teaching the children various indigenous subjects including vocabulary or traditional cooking.

The preschool also runs a fully funded weekly mindfulness and well-being program run by Head and Heart Mindfulness.

Next term they will run their bush walking program where the children are led out the back gate on a different learning adventure each time.
