The hardworking group has made another donation to the Dungog Hospital - this time a special chair which assists nursing staff to shower patients safely and comfortably.
The state of the art chair comes with leg supports and a bar at the waist to reduce the risk of the patient falling.
Endorsed enrolled nurse Charmian Bridge researched and found the chair supplier and the auxiliary paid for the vital piece of equipment.
Registered Nurse Patricia Whitehead said many patients came to Dungog who were not ambulant and needed assistance with showering and toileting.
New members to the auxiliary are always welcome.
They meet on the third Wednesday of the month in the daycare rooms next to the hospital at 2pm.
