The crayon work by Mavis Jukes is beautifully framed and was donated by Mrs Dukes' family for the fundraiser for the organisation.
Mavis Jukes, a former community nurse, was well known in Dungog before she moved into aged care in Sydney in 2016 where she still lives.
Emigrating to Australia after the second world war, then studying art at the Julian Ashton School, Mavis raised five children before settling in Dungog.
She was among the original members of Hunter Highlands Arts Incorporated, formed in 1998 which changed its name to Dungog Arts Society in 2003.
"The raffle is a great opportunity for people who may have known Mavis to win one of her original pieces,'" said the arts society publicity officer Joan Dawson.
The raffle will be drawn on Mothers Day, Sunday May 12.
Tickets are available from the Arts Society gallery at 260 Dowling Street.
