The Buzzard Mix, playing a sweet concoction of old school soul, ska and reggae will hit the stage on Saturday, April 6 from 8pm.
Tickets are $25 and can be bought at the door and you can bring your own food and drink for the night.
The band draws inspiration from a long line reaching back to the original Jamaican ska outfit The Skatalites, through the rock steady reggae of Toots and the Maytals to the unique dub soul of New Zealand's Fat Freddy's Drop.
But their true love is writing music, taking the old and mixing it up to create a fresh original sound expressing the passions and issues of life as they see it.
Formed in Newcastle in 2012 it is the collaboration of musical talent that gives this band its unique signature.
Dungog musicians Camilla Burgess and Sharon McKenny are part of the group.
Part of the rising tide of exciting soul and ska acts coming out of Australia at the moment, The Buzzard Mix has played venues around Newcastle and love to travel the Hunter Valley.
They have played Wollombi Festival, Riverlights Festival at Maitland, The Dungog Festival, the Great Northern Trading Post (Laguna) and Cirque de Sita.
Emerging from the vibrant music scene in Newcastle this is a band to watch.
As well as playing live, you can check them out on Spotify and Itunes with their EP 'Look Alive'.
They've been back in the studio recently working on a new album in collaboration with Sawtooth Studios.
