Dungog Library continues its popular author's talk series with a practicing Buddhist to speak next month.

"How to Solve our Human Problems" is described as a guide for anyone who wishes to enjoy inner peace and contentment, free from the daily pain of stress, frustration and other negative emotions.

The book is written by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, an accomplished meditation master and internationally renowned teacher of Buddhism.

He is the author of 22 highly acclaimed books that  transmit the ancient wisdom of Buddhism to the modern world. He has also founded 1200 Kadampa Buddhist centres and groups throughout the world. 

Mick Marcon will represent the author at the library talk.

Mick is the resident teacher at Losang Dragpa Kadampa Buddhist Centre at Mayfield.

He has been studying and practicing Kadampa Buddhism for more than 14 years.

He has taught meditation and Buddhism in Sydney, Newcastle, Melbourne, Taree, Forster and Port Macquarie.  

The event will be held at the Dungog Library (17 Mackay Street) on Friday, March 15 from 5.30pm.
